What landed cost means when you buy from another country

Buy from another country and the item's price is only the beginning. Shipping is added at checkout, but import duties and taxes are usually a surprise: collected by the courier at your door, weeks later, with a handling fee on top.

Landed cost is the honest number: item plus shipping plus duties plus taxes. Many countries waive duties under a threshold, the de minimis, and 1VIM applies those rules automatically per destination.

1VIM shows the landed cost on the product page, before you pay, and prepays duties wherever a courier allows it. The number you see is the number your card is charged, and the courier asks for nothing on delivery.
