Telling your shop's story

Stories is where shops show what they are making, where and how. What to post, how often, and where it goes.

What to post

Show the work in progress, not only the finished piece: the kiln opening, the dye vat, the first rows on the loom. Show your street, your market, the view from your bench. Introduce the people. A buyer far away is buying a piece of your place, and Stories is where they meet it.

How to write it

A short title, a few plain sentences, and one or two good photos. Name the place and the technique, because that is what people search for. Write it the way you would explain it to a visitor at your door.

How often

Once a week is plenty, and so is whenever something new comes out of the workshop. A steady shop reads as a living one.

Where it goes

Every story appears in the Stories feed for everyone, on your shop's page, and at its own address that search engines read. Shared in a chat, it arrives with its own card. Write a story from your dashboard, under Stories.
